How long does it take to make my Wall Bed?
It generally takes about 5 weeks from the time you send us your deposit until we deliver the bed to your home. We will give a tentative ship date at the time of ordering.
What happens on the day they deliver my wall bed?
The freight company will stop in front of your home and move your bed and cabinets to the end of their truck. At that point, you are responsible for removing the bed and cabinets off the truck. Your wall bed is shipped to you in (3) pieces and two average size people can easily take it off the truck.
Do I need a special type of mattress for my wall bed?
No. Any standard size queen mattress will work for your wall bed. And since this is a panel wall bed, a box spring is not required because the panel acts as the support for your mattress.
How long does it take to install my wall bed?
Your wall bed can typically be assembled and installed in as little as one and a half hours by two people.
How hard is it to lower and raise the wall bed?
Very easy! We use a state-of-the-art piston lift system. Our mechanism uses air pressure and gravity to make sure that the bed does not come down too fast, it goes back up effortlessly and whisper quiet.
Will I need special tools to install my wall bed?
No! All you will need is a drill, flat screwdriver or power screwdriver and a pair of pliers.
What is the difference between the traditional Murphy Beds and your Wall Beds?
The traditional Murphy Beds have a cabinet with bi-fold doors. The frame is bolted to the floor and uses springs to raise and lower the metal frame. Our wall beds whole front panel folds down so you don't have any doors in the way when the bed is down. The wall beds are also attached to the wall with only a few fasteners so you never put holes in your floor. Our beds also use a state-of-the-art piston mechanism that is whisper quiet and makes lowering and raising the bed incredibly easy.
